"Yesterday's Lesson"
Description : The story discusses history class and Hanan’s curiosity about the relationship between times, which prompts the professor to allow her to ask 3 questions in each class that stimulate their minds and their imaginations. Meanwhile at home, Hanan’s grandmother drew her attention to the fact that every tree has roots and sometimes we should not get rid of old, valuable things despite the need for renewal and development. The teacher told his story about his schoolmaster, and the teacher was proud of his brilliant student and felt he had fulfilled his purpose in life. The teacher explains the importance of the past and looking to the future. In the end, Hanan talked about the “train of history” that passed to the land of ancient civilizations, Europe, and the “age of genes.”
