    Description : Through two short stories, the writer deals with the importance of thinking for children to improve their cognitive and critical skills. In the first story, the main character, Loubna, decides to contemplate everything around her following Descartes statement “I think, therefore I am”. In the second short story, a father develops the critical thinking skills of his son by training him to attempt to answer the questions that comes to his mind before posing them.
